What made u smile today:
Was it the squirrel chasing with fervor
Was it a little baby’s smile?
Was it the little doggy chasing cats?
Was it the misty morning flight?
Was it your husband’s peaceful sleeping face?
Was it your wife’s water dribbled face?
Was it your brother’s tantrum of day?
Was it your sister’s authoritative day
Was it your bushes full of blooms?

Was it the paper boy’s fling of paper across?
Was it the careful measuring of milk?
Was it the aroma of filter coffee?
Was it the milk and coffee blending?
Was it the first sip of the morning?

Was it your sudden whistle of cooker?
Was it your little one shirking to get up?
Was it your dedicated son with racket?
Or was it the silence bliss all to yourself

It was the first sip of the morning cup o' tea......beautiful...life is composed of those small moments that make us smile, and make living life worthwhile.

a beautfiul and inspired poem...It's a marvelous piece of work...
There are a million opportunities to smile each day and even when there are no external stimuli, there is always a smile that flowers easily and naturally on its own:
Or was it the silence bliss all to yourself
